Comfort Range - air humidification and purification for art galleries and museums, offices and larger homes

PH Series Overview: Air humidifier and air purifier in one unit

Air humidity and purity are two climatic factors that have a direct effect on human well-being, hygiene, production processes, the quality of organic materials and the value of many types of sensitive objects and commodities.

Low humidity is usually a major problem during the winter months and air in the home or office can be very dry. In addition, as cold air outdoors is brought to room temperature by heating, the relative humidity indoors can drop even further if the air is not actively humidified.

We can benefit from an adequate level of humidity in the home: it prevents the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract drying out. This stops germs penetrating so easily, providing better protection against infections. In offices, active humidification can significantly reduce the sick list during the flu season! Recommended humidity levels in the home and office is 45-60%.

The PH Series of humidifiers/purifiers work on the evaporation principle as follows: dry air comes into contact with an evaporation mat soaked with water, absorbs the moisture and is then recirculated bacteria-free into the room. This is an economical, low-energy means of humidifying air. In addition, the unit's integrated filter cleans the room air of dust particles, pollen and unpleasant odours.

PH15 and PH27 - for commercial and public premises, or the larger home

The Defensor PH15 is designed for applications in the larger home, commercial and public premises (e.g. exhibition rooms, libraries, places of worship and office environments) and is suitable for humidifying rooms up to 400m3. The larger PH27 is designed for areas to a maximum size of 900 m3. They are free standing units, which can be simply plugged into mains power. The inbuilt timer and monitoring hygrostat can be programmed. Power settings can be selected as required, meaning you don't waste energy unnecessarily.

The Defensor PH15 and PH27 use the evaporator principle. This specifically involves dry air coming into contact with a mat saturated with water, absorbing the water and then being emitted into the room. Air is thus humidified both inexpensively and with a minimum energy requirement.

A further potential for active air improvement is in air cleaning. The Defensor PH15 and PH27 can operate as a combination of humidifier and air purifier in one.

The Quattro filter is the core element of the Defensor PH15 and PH27. It consists of a combination of a coarse, fine and double-layered active carbon filter which can easily be disposed of.

An integrated timer enables programming of a variety of ON/OFF and/or switching times and output levels. User-friendly programming facilitates ease of operation, dispensing with the need for intensive studying of complex operating instructions.

The mobile water tank can be flipped out at the side. This means that refilling can be easily accomplished by anyone. The units can also be supplied with a permanent mains water connection, therefore eliminating the need to refill a water tank.
